Week of Workouts {Nov. 29 - Dec. 5}

I had another week of headaches and migraines (starting Monday), so my workouts were pretty minimal. I taught my usual classes, and didn't do anything else. My headaches were pretty crazy this week.

I was in so much pain Thursday night that I couldn't sleep, and got up Friday morning feeling exhausted and still in pain. I ended up staying home from work to try to get my headache under control. Being at work makes it so much harder because I look at a computer screen all day under florescent lighting. I spent most of Friday laying in the same place on the couch. I started to feel better in the afternoon so I did some yoga for headaches and a meditation for pain.

I've mentioned this before, but my headaches are hormonal. I had them under control for about 6 months, then they came back a few months ago. I basically have anywhere from a dull headache to a migraine for 5 days straight. It's exhausting physically and emotionally. I have an appointment with my doctor in January!

Also, one of my December goals is to do yoga every day. I didn't include all of my yoga sessions in my recap because most days this week I did a short (10 min.) practice on my own without a video. 

Anyway, here are my workouts from the past week...

Saturday, Nov. 29 - 3.1 mile run

Sunday, Nov. 30 - 20 min. treadmill walk + SarahFit Booty Bootcamp (I was sore for days!)

Monday, Dec. 1 - taught Piloxing at K-Town Shakedown

Tuesday, Dec. 2 - taught cycling and deep water aerobics at the CHI Wellness Center

Wednesday, Dec. 3 - taught Piloxing

Thursday, Dec. 4 - taught water aerobics

Friday, Dec. 5 - rest + yoga for headaches
