Self-Love February - Week 3 Challenge

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you're doing something special today!

Last week, I challenged you to meditate every day as part of Self-Love February. I hope you are feeling less stressed and more self-aware!

This coming week's challenge is perfect to start on Valentine's Day.


I challenge you to give yourself three compliments every single day. Yes, compliment yourself!

How you talk to yourself becomes your truth. What does that mean? When you tell yourself day in and day out that you are fat and that you hate your body, you are more likely to treat your body unkindly (eat junk, skip workouts, not take care of yourself). You become what you think of yourself.

First, take a few minutes to think about all the negative things you tell yourself on a daily basis. Would you ever say those things to your best friend or to your mom? Probably not.

Get a notebook that you can fill with self-love notes.

Every day, write down three things that you love about yourself. Your compliments don't have to be about your physical self, you can compliment yourself for your amazing organization skills or your ability to make the best grilled cheese sandwich in the world.

But make sure you do compliment your body occasionally! With all the criticism we throw at ourselves about our bodies, we need to hear a few positive things once in awhile.

Whenever you're feeling down about yourself, your body or life in general, get out your notebook!
