Pre-Workout Energy Balls

Earlier this week, I made these delicious energy balls for my essential oils get together. They were a hit!

A perfect little healthy party snack, but an even better pre-workout energy booster. They're perfect to eat before a workout because of the carb/protein combo. (I also like to eat them to satisfy my sweet tooth)

I got the recipe from my office neighbor, Lee. She brings these energy balls to work every few months, and they always go fast! Lee was kind enough to allow me to share her recipe!

Lee changes them up every so often by using dried cranberries instead of dark chocolate chips. So make them your own and use what you have!

You could even add some chia seeds to the mix if you want!

Pre-Workout Energy Balls

1 cup old fashioned oats

1 cup toasted coconut flakes

1/2 cup natural chunky peanut butter

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup flax seeds

1/3 cup honey

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
