I made it through the #TakeTheLeap 30 Day Yoga Challenge! I absolutely loved this challenge to simply do yoga every day for 30 days. Yoga helps me to feel more balanced, grounded, stretched and strengthened.

As I mentioned in my recap after the first 15 days of the challenge (check out my half way recap here.), I joined the challenge to get back into a regular yoga routine.

There were definitely times during the challenge that I felt it was hard to fit yoga into my day. I'm teaching five fitness classes a week (soon to be four a week!), and I'm training for the Lincoln Half-Marathon. But I realized that doing yoga every day didn't mean doing an hour-long class or doing an entire yoga DVD. Some days I took just 10 minutes to do down dog, pigeon pose, child's pose and put my legs up the wall.

I really loved this challenge!

Daily yoga has helped me to destress, improve my flexibility, strengthen my core and upper body and give me more energy. Seriously, after I take a yoga class I feel so zen yet energized. It's a good feeling!

I loved the challenge so much, that I already joined a new challenge! I'm doing the #JourneyToHandstand with Kino MacGregor (@kinoyoga), Kerri Verna (@beachyogagirl) and Alo Yoga (@aloyoga). Yep, handstand! I'm definitely far from being able to get up into a handstand, but #JourneyToHandstand gives you daily challenges to help improve your strength and tips for getting into a handstand. You can download the full videos on the CodyApp.com or just follow along in Instagram.
