Week of Workouts {March 28 - April 3}

Happy Saturday!

Last weekend when I shared my Week of Workouts, I mentioned that I was feeling a bit run down. For most of March I was going to BodyPump twice a week, and last week I just kind of hit a wall. My body felt tired and tight.

I reevaluated my workout routine and decided to stop going to BodyPump for the rest of my half-marathon training. I'm going to focus on running and yoga only!!

I also got subs to teach a few of my fitness classes in the weeks leading up to the half-marathon.

I'm really focusing on listening to my body, and my body is telling me to do less. I need to add more short runs in during the week, but I'm going to cut back on the extra workouts like BodyPump. I'll also be using my own tips from my post on recovering from long runs.

Here are my workouts from the past week...

Saturday, March 27 - 9 mile run (that's what I look like after running 9 miles!)

Sunday, March 28 - rest day

Monday, March 29 - taught Piloxing

Tuesday, March 30 - taught cycling and deep water aerobics

Wednesday, April 1 - Power Yoga class + taught Piloxing

Thursday, April 2 - 5 mile run

Friday, April 3 - Rachel Brathen yoga video
