It's Monday already! The weekend was wonderful, and went by way too quickly.

The BF and I went on a long run, recovered, ate lots of delicious food, celebrated Easter with our families, ate sweet treats and I did yoga. It was a successful weekend!

How was your weekend?

Friday, April 3

After work, I did a Rachel Brathen yoga video. It was a perfect hip opening, quad stretching practice. Just what I needed.

The BF and I went to Suwannee Thai Cuisine for dinner. We shared spring rolls.

I had tofu pad thai and ginger tea. It was so so delicious.

The BF had red curry, which was also very good.

The BF drove to Hastings to play poker with his buddies, so I was on my own. As much as I love spending time with the BF, I really enjoy time alone. I watched trashy reality TV, read magazines and ate ice cream. I needed a relaxing night.

Saturday, April 4

Breakfast was my usual pre-run carbs and protein - whole wheat bagel with peanut butter, banana slices and honey.

The BF and I ran 10 miles! I hadn't done my laundry in a couple of weeks, so I wore a random crazy outfit - my Fila star leggings, my bright pink Asics top and my ombre Brooks running shoes.

It was pretty breezy, but we ran into the wind for the first five miles and had the wind at our backs for the second half of the run. I ate a Vanilla Honey Stinger between miles six and seven. The last mile was probably the hardest. My hamstrings were so tight and sore, my knees were starting to hurt and my arches felt a bit sore. But we made it!

We shared a smoothie made with unsweetened almond milk, Vega Sport Vanilla Protein Powder, kale, banana and frozen blueberries.

After stretching and showering, I spent some time on the couch wearing my ProCompression socks and icing my knees.

The afternoon was super lazy. I had the BF's healthy(ish) nachos for lunch, I ate a Cadbury egg, I spent a really long time researching natural sunscreen online (I ended up ordering Coola Sport SPF 50 Unscented Sunscreen), and I ordered a bunch of Piloxing swag for my class. I did a Fit in 2015 Piloxing Challenge, and I ordered prizes for the winners!

I got a wave of motivation and went through ALL of my clothes. I switched out my winter and spring/summer clothes, ended up with a huge pile of clothes to get rid of and made a list of some pieces I need to make my wardrobe more well-rounded. For more on spring cleaning your closet read my post, How to Update Your Wardrobe for Spring.

The BF and I finally ventured out of the house again and went to Target. I wanted to get something to organize all my workout clothes. I didn't find anything, but I ended up buying a basket for my swimsuits. Yes, I store all my bikinis in plastic bags. It keeps them organized! I'll keep this basket on the top shelf of my closet.

I also bought some random stuff, as always.

We were exhausted, and decided to go out for dinner. We randomly went to Skeeter Barnes, a barbecue place. I had salmon, which was overcooked, and a baked potato. The meal was meh.

We ended the night by watching The Foxcatcher, but I fell asleep within about 10 minutes. The BF said the movie was boring, so I didn't miss much.

Sunday, April 5

I woke up inspired to write a Sweet Success email newsletter! It's all about spring cleaning your life, and it will be sent out Tuesday morning. If you're not signed up for my free newsletter, sign up here!

I then made an egg scramble with onion, green peppers, kale, turkey breakfast sausage and cheddar.

We also enjoyed gluten-free baked maple doughnuts and mimosas (OK, only I enjoyed mimosas).

Then I did another Rachel Brathen yoga video. Legs up the wall is really good for increasing circulation, reducing back pain, helping with digestion, increasing energy and more!

The BF and I drove to Hastings for Easter dinner with his family.

For dinner (lunch), they served fried chicken, mac and cheese, broccoli rice casserole, corn pudding, deviled eggs and rolls. We also had delicious strawberry shortcake.

After we ate, we took the kids to the park and spent lots of time outside. It was a beautiful day! This photo of the BF and his niece is just so cute..

We stopped at my parent's house on our way home. They bought us some fun Easter gifts.

They also gave me some French macarons and ordered me this essential oils diffuser necklace by the Half Hippie! And got the BF a camping lantern with a fan. My mom spoils us!

We ate some Easter treats, so we weren't super hungry for dinner. We scrapped our plans to cook dinner, and the BF threw together his healthy(ish) nachos again. We also had some of my mom's Mexican casserole, which she had made for us.

We ended the night by watching Men, Women and Children, which was really good.

How was your Easter weekend?
