Trader Joe's & Whole Foods Haul {April 2015}

Over the weekend, I was in Lincoln so I made my usual trip to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods!

I've mentioned this before, but I live in a small city and the nearest TJ's and WF are about two hours away. Every time the BF and I go to Lincoln or Omaha we stop to stock up on our fave items.

My goal for this shopping trip was to pick up some gluten-free items for the BF (he eliminated gluten temporarily to see if it makes him feel better and I'm joining him to be supportive) and to get some running fuel. I also picked up some of our staples (21 Seasoning Salute, apple cider vinegar, coconut products, etc.) and a few treats that I impulse purchased.

Here's what I bought...

Trader Joe's

Light Coconut Milk, hemp seeds, natural peanut butter with chia seeds and flax seeds, cashew butter, gluten-free oats, coffee, organic apple juice, 21 Seasoning Salute and coconut oil spray.

Udi's gluten-free bread (the BF said this is good for toasting or grilled cheese sandwiches)

Vanilla Meringues (yum, yum, yum!)

French Macarons!!! (I'm sooooo obsessed)

Whole Foods

Gluten-free bread crumbs, calrose rice, rice noodles, organic coconut oil, organic coconut flakes, coconut water and apple cider vinegar.

Garden of Life Organic Plant Protein in Coffee, Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer, Vega Sport Recovery Accelerator and Amazing Grass Wheat Grass and Green Superfood powders.

I love buying these little packets of stuff at WF because it allows me to try new things without committing. I'm excited to try the coffee protein powder!! I already know that I love Vega Sport products, but they're pretty expensive and I can never take the plunge and spend the money on a whole container of my fave pre-workout and post-workout powders.
