Happy Friday! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

The BF and I don't have any major plans. I have a few health coaching sessions, I'm planning on stopping by the farmer's market and a yoga class and I'm planning on getting in a long bike ride.

I'm looking forward to a pretty low key weekend.

Today I'm sharing some random favorite things. It's been awhile since I wrote one of these posts. Please share what some of your favorite things are at the moment!

My 6 a.m. bootcamp/HIIT workouts - A couple of weeks ago, I posted a note on Facebook asking if anyone was interested in meeting me at 6 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Fitness Pad at Yanney Park for a workout. I got a great response and there's been 5-7 of us at each workout! To be honest, I needed a little motivation to amp up my workouts and get in some strength training. I've been creating pretty tough workouts! And we get to workout with the sunrise.

I'm offering the workouts for free, and I'm not doing much instruction. I'm simply demonstrating the workout then doing it with everyone else. I may eventually make it a paid class, but for now it's fun to just have some workout partners.

The 12 Best Body Positive Quotes ESPN's Naked Athletes - Just shows that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and everyone has insecurities.

I saw this image on Instagram and it was such a good reminder that comparison is the thief of joy.

(I couldn't find the original source of this image, so I don't know who to credit it to).

The Best Healthy Netflix Documentaries - I've seen Vegucated, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and Desert Runners, and they were all great. I'll add the rest to my watch list!

I'm finishing up my last few classes at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and I was really moved by a lecture from Deepak Chopra. He talked about our connection to nature, and how we're destroying our environment as we destroy our bodies.

F*ck That: A Guided Meditation - For those who love strong language, this is the perfect meditation. It's actually quite relaxing.

Grokker yoga videos - I'm working on a full post on Grokker, but I had to mention them in a Friday Faves post because I'm loving the workout videos. They are so perfect because you can workout at home (I'm not a fan of the gym unless I'm taking a class), you can do quick 20-minute workouts and all of the videos are done by experts. I've been loving the Yoga with Adriene videos.

Polar Active Activity Monitor - Ever since I got my FitBit almost two years ago, my niece has wanted one. But the FitBit Flex doesn't make a lot of sense for a kid since you need a phone to use it. A co-worker mentioned that he bought his son a Polar Active watch. I did a bit of research and it got really good reviews as a kids' activity monitor. So I bought one for my niece. So far, she has loved it. She even offered to mow the lawn for my parents so she could get in her recommended 1-hour of activity one day.

It's pretty cool. It has a little image of a person that changes depending on how active you are - sleeping, sitting, walking, running. A bar fills up as you get more activity. It also displays the time. You can also look back and see your activity on past days. It was super easy to figure out. I read the set up directions aloud as Brynn set up the watch. She figured out how to use it pretty quickly.

She's only had it for a week or so, but I'll let you know if she's still using it in a few months.

What are some of your favorite things right now?
