Happy Friday!! And Happy October!!

I love this time of year. Pumpkin spice, boots, colorful tights, cozy sweaters, crunchy leaves, warm and hearty soups. Everything about it is just so comforting.

I stole the image above from Her View From Home (An amazing site for women written by women. I'm a writer for this site! Go like the FB page!). Leslie, who runs the site, said it perfectly, "This is it. This explains it." I agree.

Today I'm sharing some of my favorite things of the moment. Please share some of your favorites! I love to hear what you're into!

32 Pumpkin Decorating Ideas that are Actually Doable! I'm totally into the idea of having a girls night that includes pumpkin painting and wine. I love the white pumpkins with gold polka dots and gold studs.

An October calendar to make your fall unforgettable. I was just trying to think of some fun fall activities for the BF and I to do together! This weekend, we're going to Oktoberfest so we can cross that one off the list!

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I just started reading this book earlier this week, and it's already amazing. I haven't really talked about it much here on the blog, but I've been reading a lot about spirituality, and how to be more in tune with my intuition.

How Do You Want to Feel This Fall? via Crop Tops & Kale. You know I'm a goal setter, but I love the idea of thinking about how you want to feel and finding ways to cultivate that feeling. I'm doing this!

The Path to Success via @VanessaPartridge. I realize this more and more every day as I build my health coaching business. So often people give up right before they are about to succeed, which is why it's so important to just keep going!

104-Year Old Yarn-Bomber is World's Oldest Street Artist - This lady is adorable, and yarn-bombing is amazing.

My new dark do. I got my hair colored and cut yesterday, and I went dark for fall. I covered up my caramel colored balayage highlights. This color is called mochaccino, which I love because I like colors that are named after food. I went to a sushi making class with that crazy dye stain on my forehead!

Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert. I just got this book, and I'm so excited to read it. Elizabeth Gilbert is the author of Eat, Pray, Love, which is an incredible book. Read it if you haven't (even if you've seen the movie).

The monarch migration is currently going through Nebraska, and it's amazingly beautiful. The butterflies are on their way to Mexico. There's been a decline in the monarch population because of agriculture. Plant some milkweed in your garden so the butterflies have food! I think it would be super cool to have a butterfly garden.

Mindy Lahiri's Closet Pinterest Board. Over the summer, I watched The Mindy Project from the beginning. I totally fell in love with the show. I even read Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling and I plan to read her new book Why Not Me? as soon as my library gets it. I love Mindy's style on her show. She wears tons of bright colors and fun dresses. This Pinterest board actually has links to buy everything she wears on the show. Most of it is crazy expensive, but it's still fun to look and get style ideas. I'm obsessed with those flamingo pajamas. They're just $140. Totally affordable for pajamas ; )
