Peanut Butter Mocha Smoothie

Posted March 24, 2015 in peanut butter, mocha, smoothie and 4 more

After yoga class on Saturday, I was craving iced coffee, chocolate and a smoothie. I didn't want to pay $4 for an iced coffee (I've been getting coffee shop coffee a little too much lately), so I whipped something up in my kitchen to satisfy all of my cravings (and save some $).

This smoothie is Ah-Mazing!! I didn't want it to end!

Happy National Peanut Butter Lovers Day!

I celebrate this holiday every day because peanut butter is one of my favorite foods. But because it's a national holiday, we can celebrate peanut butter even more!

My go-to sweet treat is a banana with natural peanut butter. Sometimes I'll melt dark chocolate into the peanut butter if I'm craving chocolate.

But I also like to add peanut butter to my smoothies!

Vegan Peanut Butter Protein Ice Cream

Posted June 1, 2016 in vegan ice cream, plant protein powder, vegan protein and 6 more

Incredibly rich and peanut buttery, your tastebuds won't believe that this ice cream is dairy-free, sugar-free and made with just a few ingredients.

Ice cream is definitely my favorite warm weather treat. But as much as I love Ben & Jerry, they are no help in reaching summer weight loss goals.

I made this vegan ice cream using frozen bananas as the base - no dairy necessary.

I've made vegan ice cream using bananas before, but I never added in any extra ingredients. The result was a very banana-y ice cream. I love bananas but, let's be real, it didn't really taste like ice cream.

This version tastes so good, I made it three days in a row!

Posted August 23, 2016 in energy balls, peanut butter, dairy free and 5 more

I'm pretty sure you know how I feel about energy balls. I'm obsessed!

Energy balls are so easy to make, and they're the perfect snack. They're also a great way to satisfy a sweet tooth!

I made these energy balls for the yogis in my yoga teacher training. Eating one or two energy balls was a great pick-me-up in between yoga classes and learning about yoga.

I've made a lot of energy balls, but this recipe is definitely the most cookie dough-like. Who doesn't love eating raw cookie dough?
