I seriously need to get back to my regular yoga practice!

I've been teaching extra fitness classes for the past few weeks, and I've barely been able to get in any other workouts. Which is also why I haven't posted a Week of Workouts post in a long time. It's too boring to read about all the fitness classes I'm teaching.

But I'm not subbing any more classes, I cut one class from my schedule and I will finally have time to do my very own workouts again! The one thing I miss the most is yoga.

So I'm excited that SweatPink and prAna are launching the #TakeTheLeap 30 Days of Yoga Challenge. This is exactly what I need right now.

As you know, I've been participating in the #TakeTheLeap 30 Days of Yoga Challenge with SweatPink and praNa (see all my yoga photos on Instagram!)

If you join the #TakeTheLeap Challenge, you can win $500 worth of prAna gear.

This challenge has been so good for me because I wasn't making time for yoga with all the fitness classes I was teaching. But yoga is my favorite way to stretch, strengthen my muscles, get centered, relax and take care of myself. It has felt great to get back to a regular yoga practice.

#TakeTheLeap 30 Day Yoga Challenge Recap #1

I'm just a little bit more than halfway through the #TakeTheLeap 30 Day Yoga Challenge organized by SweatPink and prAna!!

I joined the challenge to get back into a regular yoga routine. For awhile, I was teaching up to eight fitness classes a week and yoga wasn't happening. I'm currently teaching five classes a week right now, so I have a little more time to get in my own workouts.

Now that I've done yoga every day for over 15 days, I'm feeling great!

Staying motivated to workout with Sweat Pink and prAna

This week, Sweat Pink is teaming up with prAna for their #1MillionMinutes challenge.

The Sweat Pink community is working to achieve #1MillionMinutes of movement this summer. The challenge began on June 21, and I've been tracking my minutes of activity since then. Getting my Holiday Sweat on

Life can get absolutely crazy this time of year. Holiday parties, traveling, Christmas shopping, decorating and spending time with loved ones, while all absolutely wonderful, can cause us to throw in the towel on working out and eating healthy.

My goal during the holidays is always to maintain my weight. I don't want to go into the new year with an extra five or 10 pounds to shed. Ugh!

So I'm actually stepping up my workout game this holiday season (because I'll inevitably be eating a bit more than usual). I joined the Holiday Sweat Challenge with Sweat Pink and Run to the Finish. It's from Nov. 8 (today!) to Jan. 2.
